Near the end of the trail below Old Faithful, you can visit Morning Glory Pool. Don't think about putting your feet in. The water temperature is over 200º and it's VERY acidic! The colors are made by different kinds of algae that survive at different temperatures. Nothing can survive at the center where the water is the hottest and clearest, hence the clear blue color.
