The Narrows cont'd

We made it back to Zion Adventure with 40 minutes to spare and were happy to notice that the power was back on, a fact confirmed when Mike was given his copy of the credit card receipt. We plopped the shoes and booties on the racks next to the sink in the back room. Mike gave them back his big stick and it was time for us to think about dinner. It wouldn't be a tough decision, there was hardly anything open. Most all of the shop owners had punted the day and just stayed closed, not waiting for the power to come back on. We quickly changed clothes back in the room and joined the huge crowd across the street at the Bit and Spur. Dinner was great, with plenty of pints and salsa while we waited for our entrees. It really wasn't that long of a wait considering the size of the crowd. We were in the hot tub for a quick soak before the bubbles got turned off at 10pm, sharp. We still had room for a few Coronas and made use of some quality porch time pondering the best use of our last day in Zion.
